Silent Cry
I started this painting to show the innocence of the girl child and as the painting progressed, I felt the need to throw light on an issue strved of attention. In the quiet of this painting, I shed light on the pervasive issue of sexual harassment, which often starts within the family. This painting tells of the pain that young men and women face in the shadows of society. Young victims of uncultured olders.
This piece is not just a painting, it is a statement piece, urging us all to acknowledge and address the often overlooked struggles of these youngers.
