ABOUT CHIAZOR ECHO

Chiazor Echo (b. 1999) is a London-based digital artist and storyteller whose work sits at the intersection of faith, identity, and cultural memory. Drawing on a Nigerian heritage, Yoruba and Igbo by origin, and a Christian faith inherited and practiced in both languages, his work seeks to make visible what cannot easily be seen: spiritual presence, social truth, and stories that the mainstream has left untold.

Working digitally in a style that carries the texture and warmth of traditional painting, Chiazor Echo creates figures and narratives rooted in African experience. Their practice is not interested in explanation; it is interested in curiosity. In the seed of interest planted by a name, a face, a presence that stays with you after you’ve looked away.
