When Emmanuel Best reached out to me to make a Naruto-themed art for his project, I was excited but also worried; I had never seen an episode of Naruto before then. Safe to say I’m now the biggest Naruto fan ever.

The direction of this project was not to copy, but to explore and interpret. I wasn’t looking for perfection of form or proportion, rather, I wanted to take something that already existed and contribute to it’s already perfect nature, adding my own unique twist to it.
