Emotions
In the series of paintings titled “Emotions,” I embark on a visual odyssey that transcends the boundaries of language, delving into the raw and unfiltered essence of three fundamental human emotions: Rage, Grief and Ecstasy. Each canvas serves as a portal, inviting viewers to explore the intricate landscapes of these profound emotional states through the prism of colour and form.
“Rage,” a canvas ablaze with the intensity of red, becomes a deep exploration of anger. The bold strokes and dynamic composition mirror the intense currents of this emotion, capturing the viewer in a maelstrom of fiery intensity.
In “Grief,” a melancholic symphony unfolds in shades of deep blue, echoing the profound depths of sadness. The canvas becomes a reflective pool of emotions, with the hues of blue intertwining in a dance of sorrow.
“Ecstasy,” bursts forth in a subtle expression of joy, embodied by the vibrant yellows that dominate the canvas. Here, I capture the essence of elation, using energetic strokes and a dynamic interplay of colour to convey the exuberance of the human spirit.
