aRTIST STATEMENT

Art is my language, my prayer, and my bridge between the tangible and the divine. It is a pursuit of truth, a way of unravelling identity, culture, and faith through colour, form, and texture. My work exists at the intersection of the seen and the unseen, where the spiritual meets the physical, and where stories are told in layers beyond words.

Deeply rooted in my Christian faith and African heritage, my artistic journey is an exploration of transformation of fire that refines, light that reveals, and identity that is shaped in the process. Through my paintings, I seek to visualize the intangible: the presence of God, the weight of history, the essence of the human soul in search of meaning and purpose.

Each brushstroke, each carefully placed texture, is an invitation. An invitation to pause, reflect, and step into a narrative larger than oneself. My art is a vessel for stories that transcend time.

I do not simply create to be seen. I create to stir something within you. To remind, to awaken, to inspire. My work is a testament to my faith in God, my identity in Christ, and the journey of becoming.
